We have someone for Friday Feast this week but if you would like to sign up for another Friday please let me know! Thank you so much to all of those who have so far, (it is tough to learn everyday at 6:00 a.m. on empty tummies!

We also need students to sign up for devotionals and scripture masteries for November now. They can do this by commenting on the blog comment section.

Report cards are also ready and I will bring them to church this Sunday.

What's Happening?

Our own Miranda, (P.K.) became a Lieutenant in the Young America Air Force.  Carina, Ashley and Josh are trying out for "Beauty and the Beast."  Way to go guys!

Seminary Stars

Miranda is 15 years old and is in her third year of seminary. She is the 5th of 6 children. She enjoys Church, playing the piano, singing in the choir, school, and Civil Air Patrol, where she holds the rank of Cadet 2d Lt.. She has her student pilot's license. She aspires to be an obstetrician and a pilot. She also wants to go to clown school, so she can face her fears. 

She loves the Gospel and  she is also considering going on a mission. She hopes to go to BYU soon. She loves her family, her cats, and she loves horses, too.

Is it these clouds or is it getting up at 4:00 a.m. that makes me sleepy????

I went to an acupuncurist once who told me our brains get "soggy" when it's overcast...............So that's what happens when it's cloudy and I want to jump back under the covers for just a few more winks of sleep:9)

As for seminary.........wow Sister Gosney went all out this morning with a really fun scripture mastery Bingo game.  She's awesome!

Week of October 18th

P.K. is our scriptorian this week.  She also looked beautiful singing in the stake choir this past Sunday.  Carina W. has the devotional for tomorrow, Wed. Oct. 20th.  We will be having our usual Friday feast and scripture chase coming up on Friday:9)

Scripture Mastery and Devotional

I brought it home!  Emma is doing our scripture mastery this week.  The scripture is D&C 130:20-21.  Emma come about five minutes early if you can and we'll set up chairs for a musical chair game with it.  Dani Walters has our devotional, which is a thought or scripture of her choosing, and a song. We have been working on the B.E.S.T. devotional program which is B:  is for Background of your thought or scripture, (who is speaking)....E. is explaining what it is asking us to believe.  S.  is for sharing how you've seen this work in your life or someone you know, and T. is to testify share what you know hope or feel about this principle.

As Fall, footall, and fun are in full swing, so is seminary.  Can I just say that I think I have the best seminary class in the entire church!  Seriously they are wonderful.  How did you guys raise such fantastic kids?

Sorry guys I messed up.  We do have Seminary on September 3rd. 

I was a little nervous in the seminary meeting today after church...could you tell?  But later I thought that I should have just looked into all the faces of my friends and then calmed down a little before I started talking.  Anyhow I am really excited to get us started this year.  The first day of seminary is Aug. 30th.
